The app’s settings sit behind the gear at the top of Today. Imaginalis runs on iPhone, with iOS 26 or later.

Restore a membership

On a new iPhone, or after you reinstall the app, tap “I’m already a member” on the first screen. Later on, open the settings, tap Membership, then Restore purchases. The paywall has a Restore button too. Use the same Apple Account you bought the membership with.

Cancel the yearly membership

Apple manages the subscription. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Imaginalis, and tap Cancel Subscription. In the app, open the settings and tap Membership, then Manage in the App Store. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, or it renews for another year. Once it ends, your journal stays open to read and to export.

Apple handles refunds as well. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The free week

For new members, the yearly membership starts with 7 days free. After that it costs $29.99 a year (prices differ by country), and it renews until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the week ends and you pay nothing. If notifications are on for Imaginalis, the app reminds you two days before the week ends. The lifetime membership is one payment of $79.99, with no free week and nothing to renew.

Export your journal

Tap the share button at the top of the Journal, or Export the journal in the settings. You get every day, draw and note as one Markdown file, to keep in Files or send anywhere. Export works whether or not you’re a member.

iCloud sync

Your journal syncs through your own iCloud account, so it reaches your other iPhone or a new one. Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on each iPhone and let Imaginalis use iCloud: in Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, and find Imaginalis in the list of apps. Changes can take a few minutes to arrive, and they need a network connection and free space in iCloud.

Your chart and any recording still waiting for its words stay on the iPhone where you made them.

Delete your data

• Your chart: open Your chart, in the settings or in the Library, and tap Delete my chart.
• Your journal: delete the app from your iPhone. Then, to remove the copy in iCloud, open Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, then the storage used by apps, choose Imaginalis and delete its data.
• Usage statistics and purchase records: turn off sharing (below) and write to hello@getimaginalis.com. The privacy policy explains what we can find and delete.

Turn off usage statistics

In the settings, under Privacy, turn off Share anonymous usage. The app stops sending straight away and forgets its random ID. The statistics never contain what you write, ask or say. The privacy policy lists what they do contain.
